WEEK 32: Happy 19th to Elder França

TUESDAY
Today we were walking towards the house and I looked back at Elder Franca and lo and behold there was a little wind/trash tornado right behind him.
Sometimes gusts of wind come through and pick up the trash on the road and the dirt on the sides and form these crazy mini-tornadoes. I wanna get one on video sometime.
But yeah Franca and I sprinted away from it. It was chasing us pretty fast

THURSDAY
It seems like every other night I'm writing about some sort of ukelele jam sesh. But we had another one at an investigator's house. "Hallelujah" (yes the one from Shrek) never gets old and people love it here.

FRIDAY
Not much besides a bunch of lessons and walking. I'm teaching Elder Cunha, Wilding, and Franca ukelele so my uke is constantly being passed around the house. I like hearing it.

SATURDAY
Tomorrow is Elder Franca's birthday so I bought him dinner. We waited like an hour for it but it was good.

SUNDAY
We went to President Viana's house to have cake for Elder Franca's birthday. They have this juice in Palmas called like Tamarina or something. It tastes like a mix of sweet pickles and dirt and it's as repulsive as it sounds, but people guzzle it down like it's liquid gold. I don't get why its so popular lol

Til next week,
Elder Young
