WEEK 47: Happy Natal Yall

CHRISTMAS EVE
This week the vaaaaast majority of our investigators left town so we've kinda been twiddling our thumbs wondering what to do. We've just been knocking doors really finding people to teach.

We straight up feasted like kings at a members house tonight. It was a really good way to spend Christmas Eve.
Then at home the four of us decided to have a lil' slumber party & put all our mattresses by the Christmas tree. We had Christmas jazz playing all night for Santa to enjoy.

*CHRISTMAS*
For a Christmas 6,000 kilometers away from home it was actually really really great. We all took turns opening presents and I got a bunch of l00t that's gonna last me a while.
We got to talk to our families too.

THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS
We're still just working on finding people because everyone's on vacation. We had a good lesson with a less active dude who looks like an NFL offensive lineman. He's been coming to church for the past couple of weeks and loving it.

TWO DAYS AFTER CHRISTMAS
A few good lessons today. We're helping an investigators get off coffee. Progressing slowly but surely.

THE THIRD ONE
We went to a resting home today and left a spiritual thought and sang "I Am A Child of God". Made me remember the retirement home back home my friend and I used to visit to help out. Always an enlightening experience helping out the elderly.

AND THE FOURTH
TRANSFERS! I'll be going to Luziânia to be district leader there with Elder Zuñiga. Elder França and I have a 20 hour bus ride ahead of us.
I'm excited for a new area, new comp, and new change of things in general. I'll miss Palmas though. It's a lot more laid back and easy-going. Plus almost all of my friends are either staying in Palmas or heading up there this transfer. But I reckon it's about time I come to Brasília. It's been a fat minute since I've been here in the city.
