WEEK 49: Vivendo a Vida
No day-to-day this week, but here are some highlights:
- We had the Elders from Cristalina come up and stay two days with us because we had a training in Cêilandia and their area is sooo so far from there. We hit up a pizza buffet and ate so much they eventually stopped coming around with food to our table. We took the hint and headed out. I think they had a net loss of profit from us haha
- We found a lot of people this week to start teaching so that's fun.
- I spent a day in Ocidental with our zone leader. I always love learning what I can from those who have more experience than me in the mission field. I sure learned a lot and we had a really powerful, spur-of-the-moment lesson with a lady at a member's house. She even came to church this Sunday! I think I'd like to serve in that area some day.
- On Sunday one of the members of our Luziânia group randomly saw us doing contacts in the street and pulled over to talk to us. Since we didn't have any more appointments planned he took us to three neat families that lived in our area, so we spent the day getting to know them all and marking days to come back and start teaching them.
